Jaime Thomas

Teaching Staff

Jaime began dancing at an early age with Impact Dance Factory under Jodie Waldock. She practiced a variety of dance genres including Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Neoclassical, Classical Ballet and Musical Theatre. She competed in a variety of dance eisteddfods and competitions as both a solo performer and within larger group dances. Jaime competed at the International Theatrical Dance Championships in Sydney and in the same year performed at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast. Throughout her secondary schooling, Jaime studied WACE Dance 2AB and 3AB and was awarded the 2013 Dance Captaincy of Prendiville Catholic College. During this time she competed in several Catholic Performing Arts Eisteddfords and along with her peers won the highly sought-after Dance Shield in 2012.

She has performed at a variety of corporate and local sporting events including on cheer squads for Perth Glory and the WA Reds Rugby League Team, Telethon, Australian Dance Awards, Boobalicious Ball  and Warrington Property events. Jaime has Module 1 Certification with AcrobaticArts, a comprehensive acrobatics program endorsed by Cirque de Soleil. Jaime has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the University of Western Australia and a BSc (Midwifery) from Curtin University. Jaime is a registered midwife and is currently completing her postgraduate research thesis.
