Performance Company

K2Dance is pleased to offer the opportunity for students to audition for our Performance Company. K2Dance Performance Company is an elite group of dancers who will train intensively toward a variety of performance opportunities across Western Australia, as well as additional performance opportunities in the K2Dance annual Showcase. Senior Performance Company members may also be offered paid work in corporate environments, as well as opportunities to audition for professional performances. All Performance Company members will work on specific performance projects for stage shows, corporate events, exhibitions, charity events and K2Dance Showcases. Performance Company students are selected to work with International Artists on new projects across the year. As each of these projects becomes available, successful members of the company will be offered the opportunity to commit to each project. If students are not available for a project they cannot commit to that project but still remain a member of Performance Company for future projects.

The Performance Company will be comprised of K2Dance students who have auditioned successfully for a place. In order to be eligible to audition students must meet the following criteria:

• Be 8 years of age and above (Minimum age –  Year 3 at School)
• Attend K2Dance, undertaking at least one dance class a week in 2022

The Performance Company audition will be split into three groups:

Junior Performance Company
Year 3, Year 4 and  Year 5 in School

Intermediate Performance Company
Year 6, Year 7 and Year 8 in School

Senior Performance Company
Year 9 and above.

Performance Company project groups will be made up of the entire Performance Company, rather than always Junior, Intermediate and Senior separate groups, these are just the groups for the auditions.
