K2DANCE AT PLC
Established in 2011, K2Dance was founded on a deep passion for Dance and the Arts, driven by Kristal and Kristin’s desire to educate and inspire the next generation. Before founding K2Dance, Kristal and Kristin taught at Presbyterian Ladies College for nearly a decade, creating and building one of the biggest and most successful Dance Programs in WA. This forged their passion for teaching and inspiring young women.
K2Dance are pleased to expand our offerings to the PLC Junior School community through a new co-curricular program we are offering within the PLC Lighthouse facilities. K2Dance Staff, alongside Directors Kristin and Kristal will offer Dance classes in the Jazz and Hip-Hop styles for the Junior School students. These lessons will be tailor-made to utilise the K2Dance experience specifically for the PLC context. The lessons will culminate in a performance at the Hazel Day Drama Centre, where students will display their learning for their parents and caregivers.
Our exciting K2Dance and PLC collaboration will begin in Term 4 2024, with a taster program of 8 workshops of 16 classes, culminating in a performance. The program will then be expanded in 2025 to run in semester sessions, each culminating in a performance at PLC to demonstrate their learning in the program.
